Break Through!
So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there; and David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like the breakthrough of waters." Therefore they named that place Baal-perazim. 1 Chronicles 14:11 Our destiny is not as fragile as we think it is. And it's not as fragile as the devil tries to get us to believe it is. God has a plan that will not be thwarted. Jesus is going to have His way. The gates of hell cannot prevail against what He builds (Matthew 16:18). We know that God causes all things to work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). God causes breakthrough!

break•through n.
  • A sudden, dramatic, important discovery or development;
  • A significant and dramatic overcoming of a perceived or actual obstacle, allowing the completion of a process. You can be in situations where it seems like all hell is breaking loose around you, but God will sustain and empower you and bring you through. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to handle and He will provide a way of escape for every temptation so that you may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13). God's generosity does not give us license to be sloppy in our lives, however. We are to pursue holiness, be obedient to God, and crucify our flesh. We are to repent when we need to. We are to be gentle, tender-hearted, obedient Christians.

    God is the MASTER of the breakthrough. That is what Baal-perazim means in
    1 Chronicles 14:11. He knows how and He is willing to make things happen for those He loves.

    Thank You, Lord!
