Supernatural Strength.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
2007 is a year of strength, and we look forward to God's purposes coming to pass in each one of our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). We know that God has a plan that He has all figured out. And so, we press on to run that race that has been mapped out before us, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus (1 Corinthians 9:24; Hebrews 12:1-2).
As we move into this new year, we are setting aside pretense to press on in truth and seek His face. We don't have time to be religious. We just want to be real, effective Christians walking with Godwalking fervently, enthusiastically, and in a manner worthy of the Lord.
We all want to please the Lord. And I am so thankful for God's supernatural strength and enablementfor the gift of faith and for His making all grace abound toward usso we can do it (2 Corinthians 9:8). We have the strength that God supplies!
Thank You, God, for helping us shift our focus to You. We are forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forward to the things which are ahead (Philippians 3:13).
God is faithful to lead us forward as individuals and as a people. As we look to the Lord for His guidance, He promises He will show us great and mighty things which we do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). Thank God for the Holy Spirit and the Wordprovision for us to press on, equipped with supernatural strength!
We are going forward. Thank You, Lord!
Be strong,
Pastor Jeff
